The hotel rooms, although spacious and with a touch of Japanese style, are quite far from the elevator with a long corridor. They were very comfortable for the three of us but had old furniture and a very basic feel. The service, while the guest relations staff were helpful changing my room, suffered from a significant language barrier and lack of assistance with luggage. The location, despite being close to Kyoto station, was in an industrial area but offered proximity to nearby attractions. The facilities were good overall, catering to a 7-star experience.
